「ART of SHINKANSEN」

Animators from all around the world created GIF animations regarding trivia about the Tokaido Shinkansen and how to ride the Shinkansen conveniently for foreign visitors in Japan. It was an interesting project, where the artists who were involved were very interested in participating. We researched animators by using video research websites to look for those who creates interesting animations and made a contact with them. We were able to produce GIF animations by 12 artists in total.
The completed 14 GIF videos were exhibited at the event “Art of Shinkansen” at the Arts District in Los Angeles from March 30 to April 1, 2018.

#01 Speed

#02 Mass Transit
