ピート・タイファはタイのバンコク出身のシネマトグラファー。学生の頃から映像制作を始め、タイのフィルムスクールを卒業。ストーリーテリングへの情熱が高く、広告映像をはじめ、MV、ドキュメンタリー、パフォーマンスアートなどの様々な映像でカメラマンとしての力を発揮する。若くして才能溢れるシネマトグラファー。ピートの映像は、東京、韓国、シンガポール、台湾などのアジア各国の映画祭で上映され注目されている。
Pete Taifa is a Thai cinematographer based in Bangkok. His interest in filmmaking started when he edited videos in middle school, and continued to pursue it as he chose to enroll in film school for college. He has strong passion for storytelling that extends to more than just cinema and also to books, music, and photography. After college, he has devoted himself to different forms of cinematography: narrative, documentary, performance art, commercials, and music videos. His filmmaking has been screened in several film festivals in Asia, including in Busan, Singapore, Kaohsiung, Tokyo, and Bangkok.
